Ministries of HELPS

The objective of our SERVE Ministries is to move every member through our spiritual transformation process by intentionally focusing on our third principle: to enable and equip all members to serve in the ministry and to share their faith without fear.

Lay Shepherd - These are the couples of our church that are trained to minister to the congregation during death and emergencies. Each member is assigned a Lay Shepherd upon membership and these are the principle means of members remaining connected to the church (Deacon Thomas Shannon)

Healthy Living Healthy Lifestyles - This ministry keeps the church abreast of health related issues and concerns, as well as is prepared to offer medical assistance in case of emergencies.

Martha's Ministry (Hospitality) - This ministry is responsible for preparing the fine meals during fellowship and church events. They have the responsibility of meeting the church's catering needs. (Elis Richardson)

Pastor's Timothie - This is the clergy of the church. They meet the first Saturday of the odd months from 9:30 am -10:30 am for sermon preparation (Pastor Mitchell)

Protocol - This ministry handles the issues regarding hosting guest and strategically planning major events in the church. They are responsible during events that the spirit of excellence is seen and displayed (Oscar Cantrel)

Sharing with the Shepherd - This ministry is responsible for addressing the needs of the Senior Pastor. During the months with 31 days they lead the church in prayer. They are responsible for providing leadership to honor the man of God and his family during the birthdays, anniversaries, vacations, Christmas and whenever the opportunity arises. (Pat Easley)
